This file contains information on nursing care staff for every licensed nursing home in the United States (that is in compliance with federal staff reporting requirements). It includes average hours per day for RNs, LPNs, and CNAs who the nursing home has designated as providing resident care (i.e., RNs and LPNs who carry out administrative tasks are not included). In addition, we have calculated the staffing ratios for both care staff as a whole, and for RNs in particular, so that viewers can find out the level of care staff time per resident that a facility provides.
Please note that the file is large and may take a few moments to download. Once it is downloaded, it can be easily searched by facility name or to identify and compare staffing levels in facilities in a particular state, city, or county.
