This program explores how faith communities can play a meaningful role in supporting individuals caring for loved ones living with dementia. Caregiving is often an invisible and isolating experience, and many caregivers within congregations may be struggling without openly asking for help. The session highlights the unique opportunity for faith leaders and community members to recognize these needs and offer compassionate, practical support. It also introduces LTCCC’s free Dementia Care in the Community Toolkit, including fact sheets, care cards, and educational materials designed to provide clear, accessible guidance for real-life caregiving situations. The program offers simple, actionable ideas for sharing resources, facilitating conversations, and building supportive, compassionate communities.
