September 10, 2025 – Increasing numbers of people are receiving dementia care at home or in assisted living. Unfortunately, there are limited user-friendly resources to ensure that individuals in these settings receive appropriate services and care. To help meet these challenges and support more positive dementia care, LTCCC developed the Dementia Care in the Community Toolkit.
Today, we are excited to announce that the Toolkit is now available in Spanish.
Both the English and Spanish versions of the Toolkit provide the following free resources:
- Fact Sheets: User-friendly, evidence-based information on common issues such as pain assessment, hydration, nutrition, home safety, and more.
- Care Cards: Portable 5×7 cards with easy tips for everyday dementia care.
