If I’d have known that the veterans’ home would’ve been so bad, when I was in the service I would’ve raised a white flag and got taken in by the enemy.

I’ve been around food all my life. I’m 6 foot 2 and I’m about easily 250 pounds so you can tell I kinda like my food. It is ridiculous.

On the outside, the bricks are shiny, they’re beautiful, they look…how do you say it, “That’s where I want to be!” But you go beyond those bricks and you’ll start crying.

Well I’ll tell you what you do, you come up here any day from 10 o’clock in the morning up until 4 or 5, you will see a group of people who look like they’re homeless. They’re sitting huddled around a TV in a hallway, they’re crying, it’s…I’m telling you, one picture is worth a thousand words.

Because until someone comes up with a better way, I gotta say our way is working. But I do know it would work a whole lot better if we were eating correctly and things of that nature.

This is gonna be my mark… Not my music – I’ve played with John Lennon, I’ve played with everybody in this world. It won’t be that, it’s gonna be what I’ve seen in here and how they treat our troops that defended this country.
