The Long Term Care Community Coalition (LTCCC) is hiring an intern for the summer and fall semesters. This individual will have the opportunity to support LTCCC’s research on issues relating to long-term care and to bolster LTCCC’s advocacy for nursing home residents. The position is paid.

The Long-Term Care Policy Intern is expected to commit to 25+ hours weekly (remote) in the summer and continue in a part-time role in the fall semester. Scheduling is flexible.

  • Policy and legal research;
  • Data entry and analysis;
  • Social media outreach;
  • Development of education and advocacy materials; and
  • Meetings with advocates, policymakers, and government agencies.

LTCCC is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing quality, dignity, and justice for long-term care consumers, such as residents of nursing homes and assisted living facilities. We accomplish our goals through research and analysis of long-term care law, policy, and data, as well as through advocacy and education of media, policymakers, and the general public.

The Long Term Care Community Coalition:

  • Identifies shortcomings in the delivery of long-term care;
  • Researches issues impacting care of elderly and disabled individuals;
  • Develops policy recommendations; and
  • Actively engages government agencies, elected officials, and the general public in discussion and action on the needed changes.
